I received many compliments for "The Place GD," many more than those who read this blog, some people are lazy or technologically timid and prefer a text, phrase, word of mouth, send me a compliment by a mutual friend or buy a presentation of awards. All things beautiful and rewarding, but that compliments the most common criticism concerns the end: many are beautiful, but sad and ask for explanations, require an explanatory statement. So, dear reader, here is the answer.
The shopping center abandoned
A rainy day in summer becomes (unfortunately many will say), the perfect opportunity to wander around in shopping malls. No exception to this rule structure, located a few kilometers from the northern part of Lake Garda. In fact I'm surrounded by family-haired platinum blond, who betray their origins in Germany and the Netherlands, with husbands often oversized, overweight mothers, but still handsome and beautiful children, probably destined to become like their parents, love of food and beer. I have a zone conference in a few hours, so I have time to wander among the shops of the mall. Curious in the maze of corridors and immediately breaks into reality: Most shops are closed, signs dusty tell of bankruptcies and lives go to hell "Closed for discontinued activities", "sale shop", "End task". There are areas of the center is completely dead, even the tourists are amazed, I do not understand their speech, but I sense a sense of what they say, we read him in the eye: I am amazed by so much neglect. Wandering I discover that are open a couple of bars, a kiosk, some store brand clothes, a big brand toys, a wedding list and little else. Elsewhere I see is dust and defeats. I climb into the car and head down to the dreams I kept in those cases and now turned into sadness and debts. Along the way, the slaughter continues, there are dozens of warehouses abandoned, now broken billboards that read "For Sale" and "To let". This, for some years now, the show is economic / commercial northeastern Italian (the other areas, south, center, Europe, World, Universe, add your own). Find reasons to write something like "I love shopping" or one of those hideous books where summer tell funny stories around the shops and offices? Or would you prefer the old story of a / a forty year old who does not love and who wants to remain young at heart, who encounters many adventures in erotic, sentimental, professional, and then comes the princess or the prince who lives in the same landing and never noticed prima e tutto magicamente si aggiusta? No amici, pur con il sorriso sulle labbra ho parlato della grande distribuzione dal suo stesso ventre, svelandovi i trucchi e le meschinità che lo alimentano, ma poi ho raccontato la mia storia, che è quella di tanti altri come me, che a ridosso dei cinquanta anni, si sono trasformati in nullità professionali, senza reddito e forse senza futuro. Se ci trovate gli elementi per scrivere un finale allegro (ma il mio non è privo di speranza), fatemelo sapere!
